V/A – VIRUS, il punk è rumore. 1982-1989

Milano 1982, il Virus è stato un luogo simbolo per lo sviluppo della scena punk italiana, oltre che di sperimentazione alternativa al sistema.
Il collettivo punk anarchico Virus è ed è stato uno dei più importanti e radicali collettivi italiani, un luogo anarchico fra i più noti al mondo.
Il libro ‘Virus - il punk è rumore 1982-1989’ curato da Marco Teatro e Giacomo Spazio raccoglie tutti i materiali grafici (locandine, fanzine, manifesti e volantini) riportanti la firma collettiva Virus che i due autori sono riusciti a recuperare.
Tutti i materiali presentati erano resi pubblici e distribuiti liberamente durante gli anni dalla sua irruente presenza: dal 1982, anno della sua costituzione, alla sua definitiva chiusura avvenuta nel 1989. Riprodotti in ordine cronologico, ricostruiscono senza bisogno di commenti aggiuntivi, una cronistoria della città di Milano e della politica italiana negli anni ‘80.
La semplicità grafica e la crudezza estetica, sono parte integrale del contenuto narrato nei testi.

The anarchic Punk collective Virus is and was one of the most important and radical collectives ever formed in Italy, in an anarchic place among the most well-known worldwide.
This book is a collection of various materials: posters, fanzines, and fliers with the signature of the Virus collective, which the authors of this volume managed to retrieve.
All the materials present were made public and distributed freely during the years of its impetuous presence: from 1982, the year of its creation, to its final closure in 1989. Reproduced in chronological order, they retrace with no need for additional captions a chronicle of the city of Milan and the Italian province in the 80s. Graphic simplicity and aesthetic roughness are an integral part of the content narrated in the lyrics. The name Virus is remembered, not only as synonymous with PUNK, but above all as a real place for experimenting with alternatives to the system.
